I am a visual artist living and working in New Orleans.

I grew up in the rolling hills of Baltimore County, Maryland - a place where I witnessed how the four seasons reveal the ebbs and flows of the natural world. Spring and summer became my favorite seasons - when the earth would unfurl its fingers and burst to life. This was the backdrop to a world of wonder and exploration for me, and the essence of the expression that I seek to bring to my work today.

My work is driven by an intuitive desire to reach back and touch the feeling of my earlier days, the saturated colors blurring into soft forms. I continue to explore the role of memory, the subconscious, and the disappearing moments of dreams.

I am a graduate of Tulane University where I studied marketing and studio art. I have also studied art at Maryland Institute College of Art and New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts.

I am a mother and a wife to an incredible husband who supports me in my artistic endeavors. Outside of my artwork I am a practitioner of the domestic arts of cooking, gardening, writing, entertaining, and not least of all passing on my passions to my children.
